I heard of a case report one time. A woman after 15 years of subfertility had a successful IVF procedure.
She was 8 months when she started having elevated Blood Pressure. She refused to take medications and she said it was stress. She refused admission.
She would later come later with a Intrauterine fetal death... baby had died!

What happened?
When the baby was delivered, it was discovered that the after birth (placenta) had prematurely seperated and cut off supply to the baby. THIS IS CALLED PLACENTA ABRUPTION.
This wasn't noticeable as it was a concealed bleeding.
It was very painful... very painful indeed to the family.
Yes, Raised blood blood pressure can cause premature separation of the placenta. Take care of yourself.
Seriously raised blood pressure in pregnancy may show as
-Blurry vision,
- reduced urination
- headaches
- right tummy pain
- Dizziness
- Giddiness
- Swollen legs
Do not ignore these signs... Go to your hospital immediately.
