Yesterday, the Nationalist Social Club showed up in Lexington MA, in another standout against a migrant hotel. You may note that the Telegram channel title says "New England Minute Men," and no one is wearing the signature 131 gear. I'll get to that.
You may recall that NSC-131 is under civil suit by, among others, the MA Attorney General's office in Suffolk Superior Court (case # 2384CV02779). mass.gov
Toward the end of the initial civil complaint filing is this section, which asks that the court bar NSC-131 from intimidation against protected classes, trespassing and conspiring toward said purpose, and generally being public nuisances.
Now, that section is a GOAL. It's what the AG's office is trying to accomplish with the lawsuit. It's not actually in place yet. Still, NSC-131 has responded to it by what I can only logic out as "rebranding out of naked fear of further actions by AG Campbell's office."
This fear-motivated rebrand includes biting on Patriot Front's style by lifting their white balaclavas (Hoodsie pining after simpler days I guess), and making every member buy what looks like the same style of green button-up shirt.
Hood and NSC made a similar move during the initial, failed civil suit courtesy of NH Attorney General John Formella, rebranding as PINE back in April 2023. vice.com
One thing I didn't bring up when NSC started showing up to places in green hoodies, however, was that the "PINE" moniker was lifted from someone else who, frankly, wasn't doing much with it. (That's a long, dumb story for another day.)
Much like with PINE, the "New England Minutemen" branding is lifted. A completely unoriginal brainwave! To my understanding, NEMM's existed since 2008 at least; it was once led by Jeff Buck, who left another group founded by racist losers in Framingham MA. splcenter.org
Several folks believed to be members of NEMM were arrested, and charged with a stunning amount of firearm-related felonies, during a Black Lives Matter rally at Troy NY back in 2020. timesunion.com
One of these purported members was discharged Army drone operator Noah Latham of Leominster MA, who possessed an unserialized 9mm pistol built from unfinished parts. He pled out to a lesser charge: 2ndΒ° possession vs attempted 2ndΒ° possession. timesunion.com
NEMM and NSC have had some membership overlap in the past, mind. NSC member Kyle Morris of Salem NH, a/k/a "Coil," resigned from a leadership position in NEMM before attempting to join NSC-131. wmur.com

This is the same arrest that revealed that both NSC-131 and the New England Minutemen were infiltrated by the feds, by the way. The NEMM source initially flagged Morris to the feds over his homicidal fantasies toward BLM protesters.
Meantime, the NSC source made it clear that Morris was lying about not being a member of extremist groups, when he applied for a job with a DHS security contractor.
(Can I just take a second to point out how unbelievably brick-brained it is to try dodging consequences from a civil case by taking the name of a militia group with a history of federal-felony-level illegal weapons charges AND confidential sources that feed info to the FBI?)
Anyway, tangent done, back to the story at hand. I believe, rather strongly, that NSC's rebrand as NEMM is an end-run farce because AG Campbell scares them. Here's why I think that:
First: the whole flash rally modus operandi, combined with the uniform discipline. This NEMM claims this as their "premiere action." This was obviously done with some amount of practice and experience in NSC's specific arts of cowardice. Simplest explanation, etc.
Second, NSC boosted NEMM's channels not an hour after the standout. There is no outward reason for NSC to do this aside from pre-planned cooperation. (They even sign their posts in same style as their PINE channel does: Telegram handle, Twitter account, Protonmail inbox.)
Third, the new NEMM video matches the resolution used by several recent NSC-131 videos. (The video & audio codecs also match, but that seems to be a Telegram recompression thing.)
Fourth, NEMM carried what appears to be the same model of megaphone Hood can usually be seen squawking into during NSC events. While there was a unique sticker on it back in 2022, it seems to have been removed as of their February 2024 standout at Gov. Healey's home.
Fifth, (while I also confess to not exactly be an expert in typesets) the banner NEMM carried uses the same goddamn sans-serif font NSC employs in their propaganda videos, just without italicization.
Sixth, several of these members are familiar to me! The dude at parade rest on the left looks like RI-local NSC member, Identity Evropa washout, and disgraced US Marine Stephen Farrea, in particular. There are others, sure!
Maybe this all goes without saying? Maybe I'm just pointing out the obvious. This post is almost certainly the most play this new NSC-131 front is going to get, unless they do something stupid. we'll see i guess β΄
