Analysis of Chapter 1115 - A Thread 🧵

We finally saw JoyBoy's silhouette in the chapter, facing the World Government!
So far, we saw the silhouette of:
- Sun God Nika (Elbaf)
- Joy Boy
- Luffy

Contrary to Joy Boy and Luffy, Sun God Nika of Elbaf has a spear
Could it be that Nika had the spear of Elbaf?

- Joy Boy faction faced the World Government (20 sovereign kings)
- Luffy faction will face the World Government (Gorosei & Imu)

The Sun God Nika, or Warrior of Liberation, seems to be the only hope against Celestial Dragons. Attacking them is taboo, like Kuma said.
- Joy Boy faced the 20 sovereign kings that became the Celestial Dragons
- Luffy dared to attack a Celestial Dragon although it's taboo

- Does Joy Boy have a Strawhat in his back? We can't see his back, is Oda hiding it from us?
- Maybe the Straw Hat in Marie Geoise is Joy Boy's?

The end of the void century was marked by Joy Boy's defeat by the 20 sovereign kings who later became the Celestial Dragons.
It would be no surprise that Joy Boy's Straw Hat is in their possession.

Speaking of Joy Boy's defeat, we see Zunesha and Iron Giant
Zunesha and Iron Giant were probably part of Joy Boy's faction/crew as Vegapunk brought up.

Maybe Joy Boy had a crew similar to Luffy's?
This crew was so strong that the only way to take them down was an alliance of 20 kingdoms.

- Vegapunk says it was a battle between two opposing ideologies but he cannot conclude who was right or wrong
- Rayleigh told the Straw Hats that the conclusion they'd reach might be different

- This battle between two opposing ideologies may have started from something very ridiculous, like the taste/rate of a cherry pie!
- One Piece, a story about pie rates? Joy Boy was the first pirate.

- Roger may have laughed after realizing how ridiculous the conflict was in the first place and he called it a Laugh Tale

However, the cause of the conflict may have been long forgotten and the poneglyphs may be the key at reminding people why the conflict started.

- Sea levels rose by 200m during the void century
- Joy Boy may have become the First Pirate to survive the flood

- Joy Boy may have built the Noah after the sea levels rose by 200m during the void century to become the First Pirate
- However, his defeat marked the end of the Void Century and prevented him from fulfilling his promise with Fishman Island

- The Ancient World was swallowed by the ocean
- The "Dawn of the World", bringing the World above the Sea Level, like when the Sun rises (Dawn)?

Nefertari D. Lily's message could have been:
"Bear the flag of Dawn against the sinking world"

- Clover had told us that nothing remains of the Ancient Kingdom
- Joy Boy was from the Ancient Kingdom
- Vegapunk told us that the Ancient World was swallowed by the ocean
The Ancient Kingdom is under the ocean!

- Atlantis and Mu are two lost civilizations that were swallowed by the ocean

- A&Mu may clearly refer to Atlantis & Mu (credits to @merlinidc)
- Atlantis = Joy Boy's kingdom (Fishman Island)
- Mu = Mu's kingdom and other Celestial Dragons'
-> Two opposing ideologies

- The Mysterious Cities of Gold is a show that could have inspired One Piece
- A war destroyed Atlantis & Mu (A&Mu) when they used the "Weapons of the Sun"
- S-108 could be a pun on Es (S), Te (10), Ban (8) = Esteban, the main character of the show. Credits to @yuderon1

- V. Nusjuro did a clean cut on Egghead
- V. Nusjuro seems to have achieved the pinnacle of swordsmanship as he only cut the island and not the people
- "Protect what one wishes to protect, cut what one wishes to cut"

- Momo realized that Joy Boy was a pirate, like Luffy
- Momo knew that Joy Boy would be the one to come to Wano and defeat Kaido but he did not know that Joy Boy was a pirate from the past

Demaloblack impersonated the Kid pirates this time, a funny gag from Oda
Could this indicate a possible return of Kid pirates?
- Luffy pirates lost -> Demaloblack impersonated them -> Luffy came back
- Kid pirates lost -> Demaloblack impersonated them -> Kid pirates return?
