His grandfather said,
"Yes, absolutely! It's possible."
The boy asked,
"How is that possible?"
His grandfather paused for a while, thinking, then he said,
"I'm going to tell you a story. There was a farmer who had a horse. One day, the horse got sick, & the farmer called a veterinarian who cured it. The following day, the horse fell from a high cliff, and became paralytic.
"I'm going to tell you a story. There was a farmer who had a horse. One day, the horse got sick, & the farmer called a veterinarian who cured it. The following day, the horse fell from a high cliff, and became paralytic.
It took the farmer a long period of time to help the horse back on it's feet. Shortly after it's recovery, there was a fire in the stable and the horse got burnt, mortally wounded. Although, it was a long and painful process, the farmer was able to nurse his horse back to health.
Unfortunately, a few days later, the horse contracted a serious disease. It had been from one problem to another. The farmer felt pity for his poor horse, and then decided to end all it's sufferings. So he took out a gun and shot it dead. That is the end of my story."
The boy thought for a moment, then asked,
"What's the meaning of this story, Grandpa? And how does it relate to my life question?"
His grandfather smiled and said,
"We are like that horse in the story, and our problems are like it's sufferings.

His grandfather smiled and said,
"We are like that horse in the story, and our problems are like it's sufferings.
It is possible to have life free from problems, but only when we are dead."
At that moment, his grandfather held him on the shoulder, then spoke very gently,
"Listen boy, our pursuit never ends until we take our last breath. Today we are up, tomorrow we are down, & next up again.

Each day brings a new challenge to overcome. Problems are part of life, whether you like it or not.
Here is my conclusion: In the journey of life, we encounter various problems but what we should all hope for is a solution to all problems that come our way.

Solving them as they show up and never letting them weigh us down in any form is the best we can do. We should learn to enjoy our lives and never allow our problems to overcome our happiness."
