1. Sex is normal
The first thing you must do to remove sexual shame is remove all moral attachments to s*x.
I’m talking about the actual act itself, there are still unethical ways to display sexuality (such as cheating).
But the actual act itself is as normal as breathing.

2. Identify the roots of your shame
For most men this will either be:
• Strict conservative upbringing
• Strict religious messages around s*x
Having a sexual ethic is fine, but the way it gets communicated to young men is often only that “s*x is bad don’t do it.”

This messaging leads to all kinds of problems for men including:
• P0rn addiction
• Performance issues
• Carrying their shame well into marriage
Shame doesn’t just go away once you get married.

3. Challenge the roots of your shame
Is s*x really bad?
If you sleep with your girlfriend will the world end?
99% of people are not virgins on their wedding night and nobody is getting struck by lightening in the streets.
It’s not the ultimate moral failure.

4. Quit watching p0rn
The problem with p0rn is that it’s done in isolation and hidden from others.
The reason you hide this part of your life is due to shame.
Continuously engaging in this practice will continue to reinforce your shame around your sexuality.

5. Practice healthy sexuality
Healthy sexuality is when two people engage in a sexual relationship based on mutual attraction and respect.
This can be in the confines of marriage.
It can be in the confines of a casual encounter.
It cannot be within the confines of shame.

Shame not only harms your sexual experience but also the experience of your partner.
A healthy sexual encounter is fun, exciting, erotic, and mutual.
The more you experience healthy sexuality the more your shame will dissipate.

6. Understand women like s*x
In fact, they LOVE it with a man who makes them feel comfortable and confident in themselves.
A man plagued by shame cannot create the space for a woman to feel these emotions.
He will always be taking more than he is giving.
Don’t be that guy.

How you do anything is how you do everything.
You can’t live a life judging sexuality harshly and then expect to experience a fulfilling sexual relationship later.
All that judgment will lead to deeper shame, and likely the end of your relationship when she gets fed up with it
