Momentum scanners provides a shortcut to have strong fast moving stocks coming into your radar.

How to use them effectively?
These scanners will provide a list of stocks with their % moves in that duration (Ex: 1 month). Now these to be explored on weekly basis means on weekends.
Take top 50-80 stocks from each list after arranging them in decreasing order of their % moves and put them in separate watchlist. You have to do the exercise every week and have to keep adding new top moving stocks to the existing watchlist.
Now this Shortlisted watchlist have to be scanned on daily basis for stocks setting up as your entry & setup criteria.
So, those final setup which are ready or close to a setup can be placed in a focus list for close tracking. This is how you can use these scanners effectively.
