πŸ’ŽICT OHLC/OHLC & Power Of Three
Secret Sauce to trading HTF Ranges.
Known as one of the most important ICT Concepts, Every ICT Trader should know and utilize this concept.
This concept allows you to trade the Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Range with the highest level of precision.
In this Thread, I explain everything you need to know about OHLC & OLHC.
Thread🧡
These are all the Topics We will be covering in this thread.
OLHC: This is where the Bar opens, trades down making the low, then trades up making the bar's high and closing near the high.
OHLC: This is where the Bar opens, trades up making the high, then trades down making the bar's low and closing near the low.
The Daily Direction: The Daily Direction is one of if not the most important part of trading. Knowing the Direction of the Daily candle is essential to be onside the marketplace.
For determining the Daily Candle Direction, we can use PD Arrays to frame that.
The London Protraction: The London Protraction is where we expect a small move above or below the opening price of the OHLC or the OLHC bar forming a Judad Swing or market Protraction. This move usually occurs in London
The Daily Range: When classifying the daily range, we refer to the range between the opening and the closing of a candle or a bar. The daily range does not include the High or the Low of the Bar.
Fractal OHLC:
Fractal OLHC: This is where we identify the relationship between HTF bars and Mid/LTF bars. Everything in price is fractal, In one larger OLHC bar there are multiple smaller OLHC and OHLC bars.
The Monthly Direction: When trading the Monthly PO3 or OLHC/OHLC bar, we want to be sellers above the opening price and buyers below the opening price.
The Weekly Incorporation: Just like any other fractal, we can incorporate the weekly into the monthly. Within a single monthly OHLC/OLHC bar, there are 4 Weekly Bars making up that single bar.
