My 4 day Nashik trip - A peek into urbanism and interconnectivity in Maharashtra

Departure from Mumbai
Saturday catched Local train from Thane to Kasara.
Fare - ₹20
Distance- approx 90 km
Time- 1 hr 40 min
Kasara- Nashik bus
The kasara to Nashik has route from Thul ghat. 3 MSRTC buses were waiting in front of Kasara station for passengers to transfer from local to bus.
Fare- ₹105
Distance- 65 km
Time- 1 hr 30 min
Nashik CBS to Home
The MSRTC bus ended at Nashik CBS from where I took the @CitilincNashik bus for my home. Frequency was 5-10 min. The CNG buses were clean and has stop announcement system. The bus stop is 200 MTR from my home
Fare- ₹12
Distance- 4 km
Time - 15 min
Nashik to Saptashrungi gad
As I reached CBS, an EV AC bus was standing with frequency of 30 min to Saptashrungi gad which is one of the Shaktipeeth in Maharashtra. The bus deboarded me at Furnicular train entrance.
Fare- ₹170
Distance - 65 km
Time- 1 hr 30 min
The Furnicular ropeway
Saptashrungi gad has a fernicular train from its base to its mandir at top. It has a huge food court and facilities at bottom. There was good facilities for food, washrooms, lounges, waiting rooms, Chappal stands, etc
Fare- ₹110 both ways included
Trimbakeshwar expedition
Trimbakeshwar is one of the 12 jyotirlinga.
At the Nashik CBS, a MSRTC bus was waiting to collect passengers with a frequency of 15 min.
Fare- ₹ 45
Distance- 35 km
Time - 45 min
Trimbakeshwar
For return journey I took City bus which has a frequency of 10 min.
Panchavati
Kalaram mandir, Sita guha and Godavari ghat are places in Panchavati. The bus from Trimbakeshwar took me directly to Panchavati.
This ends my trip
What did I observed in 4 days?
-The weather is an absolute gem in Nashik. I had to take a duvet at night.
- The roads are poth hole free and very big
- Almost all roads are covered with trees and the whole nashik feels very green
- Cleanliness was top notch
