Here’s exactly how I use currency futures to measure relative strength.
A Thread🧵
1) Let's start by listing the futures tickers we’ll be using.
Most currency futures follow a simple format: 6E1!
Where the letter between 6 and 1 is the first letter of the currency name.
Here’s a cheat sheet of major currency futures you’ll need to know👇

2) You can use currency futures to identify which pairs are most likely to move📈
By finding the weaker and stronger currencies, you can pair them for high-probability trades.
Pairing a strong currency with a weak currency increases your chances of trading a one-sided pair⬇️

3) Another use for currency futures is identifying the bias for that currency
For example, if Japanese Yen futures are bearish, it means all XXX/JPY pairs will likely be bearish too.

4) Think about it in terms of base/quote currency:
->Base is the first pair listed
->Quote is the second pair listed
Lets use AUD as an example,
🟢If AUD futures are bullish, AUDxxx will also be bullish
On the other hand, xxxAUD pairs will be bearish
🔴If AUD futures are bearish, AUDxxx will also be bearish

5) So, how can you really use currency futures to get the highest-probability pair?💰
Remember, you pair the weakest currency against the strongest currency.
For example, if the Japanese Yen is weak and the Australian Dollar is strong, pairing them gives you a one-sided/high probability pair to trade:

6) Using this very concept we were able to identify $AUDJPY as a high probability pair to trade in the discord and milk it🥛

6) Of course, if there’s a high-probability pair, there’s also a low-probability pair.
What you NEVER want to do is pair a weak currency with another weak currency.
For example, pairing the Japanese Yen and the Swiss Franc will result in a pair with low probability conditions.
