Evolution will not save us from the toxins and pesticides being thrown into our everyday foods.
It's no wonder that 85% of America’s $3.3 trillion in healthcare spending goes towards chronic illness.
Let's talk about the cell danger response↓
Environmental toxins are well known to trigger a danger response in our cells.
The Cell Danger Response (CDR) is a universal cellular response triggered by threats exceeding the cell's capacity for homeostasis.
Yes, the pesticides sprayed on our food are a threat.
The Cell Danger Response (CDR) involves metabolic changes affecting various cellular functions.
If the body is under pressure, it must find a way to adapt.
The problems really start to appear if the CDR is activated persistently.
So if you're around high amounts of environmental toxins and stressors all the time while living an unhealthy lifestyle, you are doing your health a genuine disservice.
When the CDR persists abnormally, whole-body metabolism, the gut microbiome, entire organ systems, behavior, and so much more are impacted.
The bottom line is that we are not meant to be exposed to toxins nonstop while living an unhealthy lifestyle.
This would especially be the case for those with an impaired redox status and for those who are unable to sleep well.
83 billion pounds of plastic waste and thousands of harmful chemicals enter the world on a yearly basis.
The rate at which the world is becoming polluted is faster than the rate at which our genes can fully adapt to some of these changes.
When you see the "experts" saying how chemical XYZ is completely safe at a certain level, consider the fact that our detoxification pathways are often overwhelmed to begin with.
If you are dealing with a long-term health issue that has not been resolved yet, this especially applies to you.
If you're open-minded and still reading, here's what we need to do:
1) Reduce exposure to toxins to the best of our ability
- Do not live somewhere infested with MOLD
- Live somewhere with high air quality
- Move away from glyphosate-infested areas
- Eat locally and ensure your stuff is pesticide-free
- Avoid processed food
- Make sure your meat is high-quality
- Avoid tap water
- Preferably avoid being in the city too much
2) Sun exposure + Grounding (a lot)
- Sunrise + sunset
- Be outdoors in the morning hours
- Avoid isolated blue light after sunset
- Ground your feet to the bare Earth a LOT
- Get midday sun to synthesize vitamin D (without burning)
3) Fix your liver health
I have info on some ways to approach this. Just type in "liver" on my profile and you should be able to find it.
4) Focus on nervous system balance
The goal here is to make sure that your body is not running on fight or flight mode all the time. This means not ingesting stimulants all day. This means not constantly being stressed. This means literally sitting there for periods of time and doing absolutely nothing.
Additionally, you will want to pick up some simple breathwork techniques such as box breathing in the event that you are unable to calm yourself down.
Remember, to heal your body needs to be in rest mode. It cannot think that it's running from a lion.
Meditation and prayer work very well for calming the body down.
Other than these pointers, sauna + activated charcoal 2-3 times weekly can be useful if done correctly.
That's all I've got for ya.
