IF YOU SUFFER FROM PROCRASTINATION, READ THIS:
1. Practice self-discipline:
Procrastination is often a result of a lack of self-discipline.
Try to develop habits and routines that help you stay focused and on-task,
...such as setting a regular schedule for work or taking breaks at set times.
2. Prioritize tasks:
Prioritizing your tasks can help you focus on what's most important,
...and avoid getting sidetracked by less important tasks.
Make a list of tasks in order of importance and work on them in that order.
3. Set realistic deadlines:
It's important to set realistic goals and deadlines for yourself and to stick to them.
Be sure to give yourself enough time to complete the task without rushing or feeling overwhelmed.
Don't give yourself unrealistic deadlines to complete tasks.
4. Eliminate distractions:
Distractions can be a major obstacle to getting things done.
Try to eliminate them as much as possible by turning off your phone or computer notifications,
...or finding a quiet workspace away from distractions.
Try to minimize distractions.
5. Find motivation:
Motivation may not last long but for a short period of time, it's very effective.
Use motivation as an initial fuel to get started working on your goals.
To build motivation, you can try rewarding yourself for every milestone you hit.
