From that is the report mentioned in Musnad Ahmad, that states: 'Perhaps a ridden animal remembers Allah more than its rider.'

The preference of animals over such humans is evident from several ways:
1. The animal has no means to attain more perfection and goodness beyond
what it already does, whereas the human has the means to do so. If a human does not achieve the righteousness and perfection for which they were created, their deficiency and loss become evident in this respect.
2. Animals have desires and inclinations according to their sensations and feelings, but they have not been given the faculty to distinguish between what benefits and harms them. Humans, on the other hand, have been granted such discernment.
This is why it is said: Angels have intellect without desires, animals have desires without intellect, and humans have both desires and intellect. Therefore, whoever's intellect overcomes their desires is better than the angels or [at least] comparable to them,
and whoever's desires overcome their intellect, animals are better than them.
3. These (humans) face punishment, disgrace, and humiliation for their vile actions. This one is killed, that one is punished, the other is mutilated or tortured, and some are imprisoned
3. These (humans) face punishment, disgrace, and humiliation for their vile actions. This one is killed, that one is punished, the other is mutilated or tortured, and some are imprisoned
through prescribed penalties. As for [specific] decreed punishments, some were drowned, others were destroyed with various kinds of torment, and some were afflicted with oppressive kings who burned, drowned, mutilated, strangled, or blinded them. Animals are safe from that.
4. The transgressors among jinn and humans in the Hereafter will face horrors, fire, torment, and shackles, which animals are safe from, highlighting the superiority of animals when comparing their state to these people.
5. All animals believe in Allah and His Messengerﷺ, glorify with Allah's praise, and are devoted to Him. The Prophetﷺ said: 'There is nothing on the face of the Earth except it knows that I am the Messenger of Allah, except for the transgressors among jinn and mankind.'"
