Seeing as it's going under the radar a bit, just a few observations on how Chelsea pressed Spurs' build up. Think we saw a few things that a lot of teams are doing against Spurs to cause them problems. The principle is be bold and press up against them and have a FB solution.
Teams who are brave against Spurs early phases of build up really seem to be getting an advantage because although there are escapes, a lot of the time they're into players moving at speed under pressure.
In this game, Chelsea restricted Spurs to 0.7 xG from build up scenarios and half of that was from the weird offside/not offside Son chance.
