Pathetic experience with @careinsuranceIN ! Better to buy health insurance from a reputed company even if the premium is bit high, esp for your aged parents. I regret buying a health insurance policy from care, for my parents.

My mother had a high grade fever, burning sensation in throat and severe body ache, she couldn't even eat. She took OPD treatment for 4 days but couldn't recover. After 04 days, on doctors advice we admitted her to trust hospital near my home.

@careinsura77360 bluntly rejected the claim(& doctor's view) stating a single statement, 'this could have been managed through OPD'. It was a trust hospital, the treatment was free of cost. Why would any doctor give wrong advice of admission when he will not get any benefit?

Thank god, I admitted my mother in trust hospital because it is nearest to my home. The claim amount is very small (because it is only of medicines) and I can easily forget, but the issue is about the approach of the company, how they treat the customers and their claim.

This thread is about awareness, that companies like @careinsuranceIN doing with the customers. Please choose your insurance company wisely, esp for your aged parents, because rejection of one claim can make you financially miserable even if you have insurance!
