Day #1
• Drove from Pune to Ahmedabad via Mumbai, achieving the best mileage since purchase, all thanks to the fog!😜😆
• Had amazing food at TAPI Restaurant (since 1975) in Surat.
• Stayed at the Fairfield by Marriott (9500 points)
• Visited Vibrant Sabarmati River Front
• Had delicious Gujarati Thali at ISCON THAL
• Drove from Pune to Ahmedabad via Mumbai, achieving the best mileage since purchase, all thanks to the fog!😜😆

Day #2
• Drove from Ahmedabad to Jaisalmer.
3 hour drive in desert, 🏜️ excellent roads. Full of military vehicles near BARMAR
• Relished Dal Bati Churma at Thakur Ji Restaurant, Jaisalmer Fort
• Stayed at Desert Drop in Sam Sand Dunes where we enjoyed a desert safari, Rajasthani folk performances, and had an authentic traditional dinner.
Total stay - 5200 (including stay, food, cultural events, camel ride) - Paid 1000 extra for desert safari - 4x4 THAR - EXCELLENT experience

• Drove from Ahmedabad to Jaisalmer.

• Explored the Jaisalmer Fort. Okay okay
• Saw the beautiful Patwon Ki Haveli
• Stayed at Marriott Resort and Spa, enjoyed a puppet show, and tried some Rajasthani dishes.
Best conversion - 22.5K marriott points, upgraded to Jaisalmer suite 93K worth
• Visited the Jaisalmer War Museum, a place worth seeing.
• Explored the Jaisalmer Fort. Okay okay

• Drove from Jaisalmer to Jodhpur.
• Explored the magnificent Mehrangarh Fort.
• Visited the grand Umaid Bhawan Palace.
• Enjoyed shopping near Ghanta Ghar.

• Ended the day with a mesmerizing night view at Lake Pichola.

• Through Aravali hills - fill your petrol before this trip - wont see a soul for 60kms and full monkeys. DO NOT STOP the car, monkeys will climb on the car
• Explored the Udaipur City Palace. (most commercialised area - Parking Rs.350)
• Ended the day with a mesmerizing night view at Lake Pichola.

• Had a delightful lunch with a lake view at Ghani Kamma Restaurant. Felt LAAL MAANS a bot over rated
• Ended the day at the Shilpgram Annual Festival. SHOPPING HEAVEN
• Enjoyed delicious parathas at Sai Baba Paratha House.
