There are some other promising starts in the admin—eg they’re using one FVRA loophole to purge DoJ right, but see nested posts here for much more aggro ways they can use other FVRA loopholes. My bio has always begun “FVRA accelerationist” for this reason!

But my wildest dream for this admin is that it uses the loopholes described here to clarify certain basic aspects of our constitution in an amendment-by-plebiscite on our nation’s 250th anniversary. This kind of thing that appeals to what’s best in Trump:

I also believe that if we meme this hard enough, then Trump may decide to use the federal govt’s well-established legal authority over DC governance to rescind the city’s embarrassing attempts at self-rule as part of his “freedom city” development plans…
