1785 CE Inscription of Nikumbh/Nikam Marathas of Khandesh. Inscription mentions one Rigu Dayaram who was a Musician (bard?) under Maratha chief Shivaji Nikumbh who laid the foundation of the Mahadev Temple.

Noticeable thing about this inscription is 'Nīkam (नीकम)', the Prakrit vernacular form of Nikumbh. It is spelled EXACTELY same as it's spelled in 15th CE text Salyaparva by Navarasanarayana. Nikumbha Marathas carries both the forms Nikam and Nikumbh x.com
