4/ our parents *nurture* us. Which gives us a tailwind and tragectory. The better (luckier) the parents the better the tragectory and tailwind. We donโ€™t control this.
5/ at some point we take control of our own tragectory. Say 18-20. Itโ€™s less about our parents and more about our habits and our persistence. This becomes our velocity.
6/ you donโ€™t control the starting position but you do control the velocity (tragectory and speed).
7/ focus on what you control. Your habits. Your responses. Your ability to learn. Your ability to think. These are controllable and give you massive tailwinds.
