🀯I just found @elonmusk's first public interview from 2003!
After watching it, here's what I learned:
In 1995 most people didn't believe the internet was going to be big.
But Elon did.
It's easy to think:
"What shlongs didn't believe in the internet?"
But every big thing starts with no one believing in it.
And when no one believes in something, it's easy to give in and agree with them.
But huge opportunities only come when you disagree with the masses, and you're right.
Society is safer than ever, meaning downside is limited.
Society is more leveraged than ever, meaning upside is unlimited.
So take rationally optimistic bets!
Opportunities with limited downside and unlimited upside are called asymmetric opportunities.
