Men here’s how to boost your testosterone to 10x your happiness, strength, and drive for greatness:
If you are constantly tired, regularly in a bad mood
If you feel unmotivated and not able to take action on your ambitions
Then your testosterone levels might be low and you need to boost them
Why?
Testosterone is the life force of a man, boosting your testosterone levels makes you feel:
- Stronger
- More alert
- Driven for greatness
And you will find it easier to:
- Focus
- Get shit done
- Chase and achieve your wildest goals
How do you boost your T levels?
1. Sleep 7-9 hours
Sleep is like a natural steroid.
Prioritising your sleep is one of the biggest advantages you can have when most people neglect it.
Also prioritise high-quality sleep, low-quality sleep is just as bad as a lack of sleep.
2. Reduce your stress levels
High-stress levels mean a high cortisol level, which will plummet your testosterone
There’s a fine line between the right amount of stress and too much stress, so manage your stress through:
- Exercise
- Meditation
- Journalling
3. Lift weights
Lifting heavy weights boosts your testosterone and both of these will help you build more muscle which will again produce more testosterone.
Lifting weights is a constant cycle of looking better and feeling better.
4. Get more sunlight
Most people spend their lives indoors these days meaning they don’t get enough sun and therefore enough vitamin D.
Get outside more, and get sunlight exposure (especially in the morning for sleep), you will instantly feel better and help boost your T levels
5. Eat steak
Steak is full of dietary cholesterol, the building block of testosterone.
Steak is also full of plenty of other essential vitamins and minerals like iron, zinc, magnesium, VB12 & B6
If you don't want to eat more steak, at least supplement the appropriate V&Ms
6. Drink less alcohol
Alcohol interferes with all 3 glands necessary for testosterone production, it also increases cortisol levels and ruins sleep quality.
It is a testosterone killer.
Drink less alcohol. Much less.
7. Lose some fat
A higher body fat lowers both total T due to decreased insulin resistance as well as free T due to increased thyroid hormone.
Lose some fat, you don’t need to be shredded but get down to ~12-15% body fat and you will feel better, look better and live better
