Every piece of fitness advice I could come up with after 14 years in the gym:
1. Most injuries are avoidable if you don't use training to punish yourself.
2. Your genetics are normal it's just that 50% of the people right now are on gear or SARMS.
3. Deadlifts are not worth it if you're 6 foot and over.
4. If you bodybuild, the weight is irrelevant and the way you look everything.
5. The best tool for lower back disc rehab is probably the breathing belt.
6. Most people get injured BAD due to weak hamstrings, glutes and core.
7. Lower trap rope pulls will save your shoulders.
8. Stewart McGill is a gift to humanity.
9. Train with a coach at least once. Even advanced lifters have bad form a lot of times. Spend the 20$.
10. Isometric holds for biceps, triceps, shoulders and quads are mandatory if you're an advanced lifter.
11. The anabolic window is not a lie.
Just stfu and try it.
12. Tricep kickbacks WORK
13. If you don't do rows, something will snap. Is just a matter of time.
14. The best bicep exercises are ez bar bicep curls and concentration curls.
15. Every tricep movement is a good one except skull crushers.
16. In the gym you'll either find extremely confident people or extremely insecure. Try your best to avoid or somewhat befriend the later.
17. If you can train A.M, train A.M half of the studies that say otherwise where paid by gym owners (look this up).
18. Pre workouts are the biggest scam ever created.
19. Most of your growth comes from sleep and diet. Never neglect them.
20. In the gym most people operate at 40% or 110%.
Learn how to operate at 90%.
21. Tsatsuline's stuff are great, but not for building muscle.
22. Don't use fighting as a cope for not being able to build muscle and bodybuilding as a cope for not being able to fight.
23. Drop sets work wonders for every body part.
24. Thiamine is the best pre workout.
25. You don't need 740 isolation exercises.
26. Gironda's stuff will get your shoulders jacked up long term.
27. You should do the typical bulk and cut thing if you train less than 6 years.
28. If you ever decide to gear, at least take NAC, milk thistle and ALA.
29. Red light therapy, sauna and cold plunges work tremendously.
30. GOATA drills are autistic but work.
Mandatory.
31. If you get injured from a specific exercise, skip it. You will get re injured.
32. Weighted pull ups are great short term. Long term are a one way ticket for forearm tendinitis.
33. Pullovers work. Why is no one doing them?
34. If you don't have a specific plan and are winging it, you won't make it.
35. Most natties train way too much to build muscle and way too little to build strength.
36. Do not over train your abs.
Hands down some of the worst type of injuries are ab injuries.
37. Leg extensions are only an alternative when you can't perform lunges or step ups.
38. NEVER train fasted.
I will even angry write a full thread on this one day.
Obviously the title was a click bate title and i wrote this thread to troll the normie coach that wrote the original.
The best pieces of advice i could actually give someone are to : stick to the exercises that work for you, have a plan with a specific goal and never make the same mistake twice.
