5 common habits that stress you out more than you think
THREAD
1. Not eating enough
Many of you arenโ€™t fuelling yourselves properly
You start your day with a coffee & skip breakfast to save time
Your blood sugar drops
Your cortisol skyrockets
Come lunch time, youโ€™re anxious & irritable
Eat within the first couple of hours of waking up
2. Not enough sunlight
Morning sun exposure is vital
It primes your hormones and neurotransmitters
All of which play a major role in your stress
Get outside within the first hour of waking up
3. Dehydration
Your brain is 80% water
If you let it dry up like the Sahara desert
Youโ€™re gonna feel groggy and aggravated
Before you start anything else
Walk to your kitchen and add a few pinches of sea salt in a tall glass of water with lemon juice
4. Checking your phone as soon as you wake up
If you wanna live your life in a reactive/frustrated state
Then check your phone first thing
A better option would be to dedicate the first hour to yourself
Read
Stretch
Meditate
Go for walk
Anything is better than your phone
5. Lack of exercise
We are creatures of movement
Being cooped up inside all day like a caged animal is making you an anxious wreck
You need to move
But you need to find what works for you
If it feels like a chore
You wonโ€™t stick to it
