1. Diffusion (part 1)
Pick an upsetting thought you have
ex. “I am not talented”
Now add the phrase “I am having the thought that…”
You will notice the power of that thought lessen
You have detached yourself from the thought

Pick a negative thought & silently sing it to the tune of “Happy Birthday”
What happened?
Hopefully, you can see it for what it is: nothing more than a string of words
No avoiding. No denying. Only disrupting.

If you have a story that comes up often? Name it

Now you see your thoughts just as words NOT facts

2. Meditate to separate from your thoughts.

💠You can “catch” them.

💠Be curious about them
💠Maybe ask why?
Then watch them dissolve like a cloud on a windy summer day.
