@Bowtiedsmilodon This is a tricky one. I will say right off the bat that I am not a doctor & you should definitely consult with one before giving anything to your kids.
The best way to ensure childrens’ health is to feed them a high quality meat based diet with a healthy dose of fruits & veggies
@Bowtiedsmilodon And make sure they are getting plenty of sunlight on their skin in order to produce enough vitamin D.
It’s tricky because kids need lower amounts of vits than adults and if you overdue it, it can be hard for the child to know / tell you something is wrong.
@Bowtiedsmilodon There are several important vitamins that are essential for kids including:
Iron, calcium, vitamin D, vitamin A, B vitamins, vitamin C, DHA, vitamin K, vitamin E.
There vitamins contribute to proper bone and brain growth.
@Bowtiedsmilodon Kids might not be getting all these vitamins in the proper amounts if they follow alternative diets or a picky eaters.
Rather than targeting specific vitamins, you can give your kids a high quality multi vitamin that covers all these bases.
@Bowtiedsmilodon Combined with a high quality meat based diet and plenty of sunshine, this should be adequate to meet their needs.
Look for ones that do not contain sugar or artificial sweeteners, flavors or colors.
The ones from Ritual and Garden of Life look like good options.
@Bowtiedsmilodon Sorry if that’s a bit of a non answer but it’s really not as straight forward as adult supplements.
