5 habits I've used to skyrocket my dopamine levels:
1. Early morning walks in the sun
There are few things better than getting that some sweet vitamin D first thing after waking up.
Get your ass outside as early as you can, and the sun will reward you with some increased dopamine levels.

2. Eat more protein
Apparently, an amino acid called tyrosine plays a critical role in the production of dopamine.
All I know, is that since I started eating 1 gram of protein per lb of body weight, Iβve felt significantly better.

3. Lift heavy stuff and walk more
Over time, consistent exercise can totally remodel your brainβs reward system.
This leads to higher circulating levels of dopamine and more available dopamine receptors.
Pretty cool eh? (Yes, Iβm Canadian)

4. Gamify life
Video games are a cheap and addictive dopamine source.
If we can apply those same gaming principles to achieving our goals, we become addicted to bettering ourselves
Some easy places to start:
- Habit tracker like Streaks
- Join a community with similar goals

5. Reduce screen time
In the last month, Iβve cut my screen time down by over 50%.
I had bad withdrawals at the start.
My brain was so used to a constant stream of cheap dopamine from my phone.
I feel like now Iβm finally starting to reset, and I'm getting happier each day.

That's a wrap!
