1. Eat dinner as a family every night.
2. Cook most of your food.
3. Teach them how to cook.
4. Get healthy. You are their biggest example of health.

5. Teach them how to exercise.
6. Encourage at least 60 minutes of movement every day.
7. Have them drink plenty of water.
8. No fruit juice or soda.

9. Milk is ok if they tolerate it.
10. Limit sugar.
11. Have healthy snacks around.
12. Teach them that it's ok to be hungry at times.

13. Donโt buy junk food. They will get plenty at school, church, grandmaโs, and their friend's houses.

15. Do take them for treats on occasion.

16. Teach them the importance of eating protein and healthy fat. Your 5 year old should be the one at school telling the teacher that candy has no protein.
17. Have them keep a regular bedtime.
18. Most kids need 9-10 hours of sleep.

21. Give them magnesium at night and vitamin D in the morning.
