How to remineralize your teeth.
A thread.
First of all, understand that it is completely normal and possible to have great oral health and no cavities for your entire lifetime.
The dentist Weston A. Price found primitive cultures throughout the world who had perfect teeth spacing and no evidence of cavities(*) while
similar cultures with modern diets had very high rates of tooth decay which led Price to hypothesize that dietary factors were the main contributors for this phenomenon.
(*)This was also despite the fact that these cultures had no access to dentists, toothpaste, mouthwash and
a million other things that are supposed to help our oral health.
Now tooth remineralisation is a process for enriching teeth with minerals mainly in order to prevent tooth decay.
This is entirely possible since you can prevent, reverse and repair damage to tooth minerals
with the right set of knowledge.
But before we see how to remineralize our teeth let’s see what aids in demineralization
Demineralization, is the removal of minerals (mainly calcium) from any of the hard tissues: enamel, dentine and cementum.
The main things you must avoid in order not to face this are the following.
1) Phytic acid and oxalic acid.
Both bind and prevent from being absorbed: calcium, zinc, magnesium, iron and copper to the point that they can even lead to stunted growth.
Phytic acid is a molecule of phosphorus tightly bound with other molecules to form a type of phosphorus that is not easily absorbed by humans.
People who consume large amounts of phytic acid (most people) have higher rates of tooth decay, mineral deficiencies and osteoporosis.
Drs. Mellanby did a fantastic study on children with existing cavities and the correlation with phytic acid.
In the study these children were put into three groups:
Group 1: Regular diet (which is high in phytic acid)
Group 2: Regular diet plus vitamin D
Group 3: Diet low in phytic acid plus vitamin D.
This is what they found:
As you can see, the group consuming no phytic acid and supplementing Vitamin D showed not only minimum new
cavities but actually had many existing cavities heal.
So what should you avoid?
Mainly vegetables that are not cooked in animal fats, grains that are not sprouted and no nuts or seeds (and obviously no nut butter or nut β€œmilks”.
Also do your best to avoid pesticide sprayed
foods since modern growing practices usually include high phosphorus fertilizers.
2) Sodium fluoride
Sodium fluoride was first added to the water in order to prevent cavities which is completely absurd since it is a powerful calcium chelator.
So if they wanted to prevent cavities they might as well have added zinc picolinate.
Sodium fluoride is such a powerful calcium chelator that it weakens the bones and makes them way more prone to fractures.
Sodium fluoride can also trigger tumors as well as aiding their
growth and spread.
Today we’re exposed to levels of sodium fluoride so high that lead to iodine displacement which is probably one of the reasons that 67/75 studies found reduced IQ in humans after fluoride exposure since iodine deficiency
can lead to a decrease of 15 IQ points.
The sodium fluoride levels in your drinking water are also twice as important for thyroiditis as your family history is.
So sodium fluoride is not only a problem for your teeth but your health in general.
What can you do?
1)Filter your drinking water.
2)Stick to toothpastes with natural ingredients (i will give you a recipe at the end of this thread).
3)Switch mouthwash for coconut oil.
4)Consider using boron .
4) Phosphoric acid
You know why coca cola is an effective tool against rust?
It’s because of its phosphoric acid content.
Now imagine what phosphoric acid is doing to your teeth.
Food-grade phosphoric acid (it has the name E338[20]) is used to acidify foods and drinks.
Phosphoric acid not only has the potential to cause dental erosion but kidney stones as well.
Phosphoric acid obviously displaces calcium as well.
5) Avoid the consumption of too many acidic foods and beverages that are not naturally carbonated.
Both take away minerals from dental surfaces, to prevent teeth weakening and cavities (holes in teeth) forming.
Plus if the oral environment is acidic demineralisation will promote dissolution or loss of tooth mineral.
Moving on how to remineralize the teeth.
Then the most neglected aspect in tooth remineralization is addressing gut health.
Dental decay is actually an infection which requires a certain type of bacteria in order to occur.
It is common knowledge for example that people with candida face more oral problems in general
and this is one of the reasons why (other ones being that certain types of candida are actually calcium chelators).
Here’s a full thread on gut health.
Then eat more enamel strengthening foods such as raw goat's dairy.
Tooth enamel is made from minerals like calcium that also help make your bones stronger.
Foods high in calcium both neutralize the acid that harms enamel and can help add minerals back into tooth surfaces.
Note in case you're going to eat dairy from supermarkets: make sure that they do not contain food additives such as gums, carrageenan, high fructose corn syrup and even canola oil.
Another great source of calcium is eggshell powder (unless you're facing serious gut issues).
Again, detox from heavy metals and do not ignore this topic.
One of the ways that heavy metals can leave your body is through your gums and this will cause dental damage.
Get your thiamine and other chelators in.

Again, address your thyroid.
If parathyroid is increased, it will facilitate the leach of calcium from the bones.
Full thread:
Address vitamin D levels and add liquid vitamin D to your coconut oil mouth wash.
Vitamin D helps the body bsorb and retain calcium and phosphorus for tooth mineralization.
It is also a great antibacterial.
Address vitamin K2 levels and consider liquid supplementation.
Vitamin K2 is actually a type of protein that works along with Vitamin D to move calcium out of soft tissue and your bloodstream, and into your teeth and bones.
Use topical vitamin E oil.
Vitamin E has been known for ages for its numerous benefits to teeth and the oral cavity specifically those related to the gums.
Use this esoteric mouthwash recipe.
*Don't use all of it at once obviously*
1)10 tablespoons of coconut oil
2)50 drops of liquid magnesium
3)10 drops of trace minerals
Now in order to make a toothpaste simply add some xylitol and calcium powder (not too much, 1 teaspoon tops).
But please do not over do it and start very slowly.
That's basically it.
And if you're sceptical, i have not visited a dentist in 10 years.
