FAQ: George, why not supplement vitamin E?
Well my anon friend, supplementing vitamin E can be beneficial if it's coming from a quality brand and the dose is low.
But the quality in most brands is bad and the dose in them is so ridiculously high that it will drive the need
for other fat soluable vitamins through the roof.
This is one of the reasons why people who supplement with vitamin E experience a worse skin condition than a better one a lot of times with severely dry skin being the most common one.
It’s because their body’s storage of fat soluable vitamins can’t keep up with a dose of 800IUs of vitamin E.
So, if you are going to supplement vitamin E, i suggest a dose of 50IUs a day tops, with a good amount of d alpha tocopherol (10-15mg).
After a certain point we are able to explain everything just by using common sense so please stop asking me for studies.
Most medical research for a long time now, is done just in order to rationalize mistaken assumptions to begin with.
