Long time back, I had thought of doing something like this.. did a few verses then gave up. Might motivate me to take up the Odyssey of Homer (since he is already doing the Illiad)

Certainly, his command of Vedic Sanskrit along with other Indo-European languages such as Ancient Greek, Old English are quite welcome, and something I have encouraged fondly in the past as a must for all Hindus.
