Remember these pears pickled with warming spices we made? When you finish them, Don’t throw out the liquid… Do this instead ⬇️
With that remaining pickling liquid, there is a ton of flavor still Simply take 2 cans of cut beets (packed in water), drain, and put in a large mason jar
Now add the leftover pickling liquid with warming spices. You probably won’t have enough liquid so simply fill the gap up with straight malt vinegar (or distilled white)
Now put a lid on and store in your fridge The pickles will be ready in 3-5 days and will keep pretty much forever They won’t last long tho 😉 (Also pictured: pear butter & watermelon kimchi) Enjoy!
