Technically, it's something you do right After the workout is done. Instantly, when your workout is done, find a suitable spot in the gym, or wherever you, and take a complete moment to yourself. Zero distractions. Especially no phone. Especially no music.
You don't want any input in your system at this special twilight moment, right after working out. You can close your eyes, you dont have to, but it's about feeling your body.

The work you put in, realized that. Let it all process in your Mind's Eye. (this is why eyes closed works better, test it out, each person is a bit different, after all).
