When you eat them:

There are some in the carnivore sphere who argue that plant chemicals shouldn't be eaten.
For those with autoimmune issues → avoiding certain plants CAN help.
But based on the research → some plant chemicals might worsen autoimmune symptoms, but don't appear the root cause.
Research also suggests that organic plants have 30-40% more polyphenols than non-organic plants.
Logically, this makes sense.
Spray a plant with pesticides & herbicides → it will have less of a need for its own plant defense chemicals.
