This is why St Pius V stands out so much. He actually was every bit as opposed to nepotism and simony as his reputation suggests.
This becomes even more clear, when Sixtus V defies the late Pius' wishes to be buried in Bosco, and has him buried right next to his own grave in the "other" sistine chapel in Santa Maria
