3) Talk like you’re in high-school instead of acting professionally.
4) Don’t ask for referrals when you do a good job.
5) Never talk about your success stories.
6) Don’t find clients in specific niches you can help. Sell to anyone and everyone.
7) Hard sell the client without considering if it’s right for them.
8) Sell them the wrong service just to get another sale.
9) Read sales books. Never action the advice.
10) Dismiss what your client says because “you’re the expert”.
11) Let your client chase you instead of proactively contacting them.
12) Don’t prepare for a client pitch because you’ve done it 100 times before.
13) Be inflexible and rigid in your approach. Never flex.
