Being mentally strong will make you rich, strong, and happy.
Here are 4 ways to increase your mental fortitude:
1. Train
Training at the gym or in a sport will not only build your body but also build your mind.
It will teach your mind to persevere through difficulties and times of stress.
This is absolutely necessary to have so you can navigate the world we live in to the best of your ability.
2. Challenge yourself
Try new things and constantly challenge yourself.
Whether it be a tithe gym, or just a hobby you have, strive to always get better and to keep learning.
In addition, get out of your comfort zone and try new things as much as possible.
This is because you will learn how best to respond to certain situations and KNOW HOW you will respond to them in the future.
3. Exercise your brain
Mindlessly scrolling on TikTok is only smoothing out your brain.
You need to stay sharp.
Here's what you can do.๐Ÿ‘‡
- Play chess
- Read books
- Listen to podcasts
These are meant to be done during times of rest. I wouldn't say these are necessarily productive but the idea is that they make you think on a deeper level.
4. Meditate
It's always great to cut out distractions every once in a while.
You don't have to meditate specifically, but I find it's the best way for me to not look at my devices and just be in the moment alone.
Instead you could:
- Take a long walk
- Go camping for a weekend
- Anything else you can think of that gets you away from your phone
This gets your mind away from the high frequencies of fast-paced life on the internet.
It's crucial to stay grounded and calm. This does just that.
