Here are 4 reasons they are essential to your health:
Omega-3 fatty acids provide building blocks for ALL of your cell membranes.
All cellular processes start and end at the surface of your cells.
Think of cell membranes like the ears of your cells:
Without healthy membranes, your cells become deaf.
Omega-3 fatty acids reduce inflammation.
Chronic inflammation plays a role in all chronic health issues:
→Cardiovascular Disease
→Alzheimer's Disease
→Depression
→Diabetes
→Cancer
It takes such a toll that some call it "inflammAGING."
Omega-3 fatty acids help balance blood sugar.
Unbalanced blood sugar will put extra strain on your liver.
Chronically elevated blood sugar also creates insulin resistance and leads to avoidable health issues like Type 2 Diabetes.
Omega-3 fatty acids increase the activity of BDNF in your brain.
