Big-Food corporations sell processed junk that is killing you.
Did you know much of what they sell is BANNED in other countries?
Here are 12 foods youโ€™re eating that are illegal in other countries you should probably avoid:
Coffee Mate, Pillsbury Biscuits, Ritz Crackers
Switzerland, Austria, Hungary, Iceland, Norway, and Denmark have all banned these.
The reason is the trans-fat content, specifically the partially hydrogenated soybean and cottonseed oils, which are linked to heart disease.
Frosted Flakes, Wheat Thins
The UK, Japan, and parts of Europe have banned these cereals because of a chemical called BHT (butylated hydroxytoluene).
The flavor enhancer has been shown to produce liver, lung, thyroid, and kidney damage.
Skittles, Pop-Tarts, Gatorade
These sugary snacks are banned in the European Union because they contain dyes like yellow 5, yellow 6, and red 40.
The EU banned these artificial colors after research indicated they could be harmful to health, especially to young children.
Glyphosate exposure
Glyphosate is the active ingredient in "Round-Up". This popular herbicide is used abundantly throughout the U.S.
Agencies have allowed a 40 fold increase in the amount of glyphosate exposure allowed in the U.S. while it's remained more strict in Europe.
Why does this matter?
It destroys the good bacteria in your gut. And proper gut health is important to immune function, hormone control, nutrient absorption and so much more.
An unhealthy gut results in unhealthy individuals and minimizing glyphosate exposure is a start.
