2) All medication should be treated as a temporary solution versus a lifelong sentence. Polypharmacy is the 3rd leading cause of death in the nation.
3) The grains you are eating contain small amounts of glyphosate (Round-up herbicide) that are destroying your gut. This includes pastas, beans, corn, cereals, oats and refined grains.
4) Cardio is great for brain and heart health, but an inefficient way to lose weight. Nutrition should be the focus.
5) Animal products including meat, fish, dairy and eggs contain more nutrients than any other foods on the planet. Avoiding them is a recipe for malnutrition.
6) You should be getting as much sun as you can without burning or using sunscreen. Start slow and during morning and evening times until you’ve built a solar callus. Gradually increase mid day exposure.
7) Insulin resistance is the primary cause of heart disease. Cholesterol isn’t even in the top 10.
8) Resistance training allows the muscles to remove sugar from the blood stream without requiring insulin.
9) Your hypertension is more likely to be caused by insulin resistance (carb overdose) than too much sodium.
10) Carbs aren’t inherently bad but most people would benefit from scaling back significantly for a period of time.
