91% of people fail to keep their New Year's Resolution.
Use these 8 habits to make 2023 the year you keep your resolution and change your life forever:
Anyone can starve themselves to lose weight, but keeping it off is the real flex.
Long-term success means changing your relationship with food.
What I’m about to share is SIMPLE...but not easy.
You’ve got this.
Let’s go.
Stop drinking calories!
There are 139 calories in a coke.
394 calories in a medium mocha.
116 calories in a beer.
You have to walk an HOUR just to burn off ONE mocha!
Stop that.
Begin replacing drinks that have zero nutritional value with...
Water
75% of your brain is made up of water. You can’t make good eating decisions if your brain is dying of thirst.
Bonus: you’ll start making better decisions in your relationships and at your job!
You should be drinking an ounce of water for every 2lbs of body weight.
Eat fewer calories by skipping a meal.
Try skipping breakfast.
The most popular way to fast is the 16/8 method.
Fast for 16 hours and eat during a pre-determined 8-hour window.
Less meals = less food = less calories
Eat real food.
Doritos won’t fill you up and have no nutritional value.
I get it. They’re delicious.
But remember, Processed foods are a great way to stay hungry constantly.
I’ll make it easy:
If it’s in a package or if it has a barcode...it’s probably not real food.
If you’re serious about keeping the weight off... stop buying the crap that sabotages your efforts.
Order your food ahead of time, when you aren't hungry.
This keeps you from buying crappy food on impulse.
“But if I get rid of the frozen pizzas, what am I supposed to eat?”
Protein

The amount of protein you can eat and still stay under on calories.
3 oz of grilled chicken breast is 120 calories! (35g of protein)
3 oz of grilled shrimp is 84 calories! (20g of protein)
3 oz of grilled sirloin is 120 calories! (26g of protein)
Most people aren’t eating enough protein. I’d be shocked if you’re getting over 100 grams. A good goal is between .75 and 1 gram per lb of body weight.
High-quality lean protein is delicious and FILLING.
If you get this one right, it’ll be enough.
STOP eating when you aren’t hungry!
An easy hack to see if you’re hungry or bored...
If you’re hungry, you’ll eat protein. If you’re bored, you’ll be “hungry” for junk food.
Small details that make a big difference:
Drink 2 glasses of water before your meal. Boom. You won’t be as hungry during the meal, and you’ll have less of a chance of overeating.
Eat protein and veggies before you eat anything else.

Be mindful of what you’re eating. Savor the tastes. Enjoy your meal. Bonus: whoever you’re eating with will enjoy the company.
Slow down.
Chew each bite.
This takes practice but gives the food time to hit your stomach, which will signal to your brain that you’re full.
Balance your plate 1/4 protein 1/4 carbohydrate 1/2 vegetables

You don’t have to do all that at once.👆🏼
Pick one or two and make them lifelong habits.
Lift 3 days a week, build good eating habits and you’ll be unrecognizable in 3-6 months.
How to lose weight (and keep it off):
Stop drinking calories
Drink more water
Skip breakfast
Eat real food
Eat more protein
Stop snacking while bored
Eat mindfully
Balance your plate
