If you aren't progressing in life, read this:
I work with people every day to reach their goals
The truth is they all have the same issue
They all hit a plateau
Here is how you get over the wall in and out of the weight room:
Learn to listen to your body
It's easy to keep pushing your body
Especially when you reach a point where you aren't seeing results
YET,
Don't forget to:
• Get proper sleep
• Have a nutrition plan
• Do what you enjoy doing
Push your boundaries
You just heard me say do what you enjoy (but you want progress)
So when you are doing what you enjoy in life or in the weight room
Push yourself by:
• Taking chances
• Trying a new movement
• Challenging your mindset
Track everything
You need to be tracking:
• How you spend your time
• The food that your consume
• The workouts you do in the gym
Tracking these gives your the chance to make adjustments
It will keep you accountable, and help notice opportunities to grow
Keep showing up
This solves a lot of issues
It is easy to fall back to old patterns when you stop progressing
Don't let that happen
When you feel like giving up, remember why you started in the first place
