Regardless of age sub 60 is ideal Resting heart rate.
Tomorrow morning before getting out of bed place ur middle and index finger tips on ur wrist in between the bone and tendon. U will feel the pulse. Count the pulse in 30 seconds and multiply by 2 to get RHR.
If ur RHR is high something is not right or u r not fit. Check average of three days. Females will have slightly higher RHR. What u can do to improve RHR
1. Limit alcohol or stop drinking
2. Get quality sleep
3. Hydrate well
4. Practise meditation
5. Aerobic exercise is the most potent way to improve RHR. Yoga also helps improve RHR.
