In today's fast-paced digital age, we are bombarded with a constant stream of information from various sources.
There are lies in every industry.
Sadly there are a lot of lies in the one I love so much, fitness.

I thought about doing a thread on lies within the fitness industry (probably will), but I thought for this post, I would just address how to identify bullsh*t when you see it.

If you want to walk in the truth, you must know how to counter lies and misinformation to live honorably.
A few years ago, I was confronted with a situation where a close friend shared a sensational news article that claimed a groundbreaking cure for a debilitating disease.

Eager to spread the good news, I almost shared the article without investigating its credibility.
Fortunately, I decided to delve deeper and quickly discovered that the article was based on a small, inconclusive study that was far from a proven cure. (like so many studies are)

It was a valuable lesson in the importance of critical thinking and skepticism in the face of sensational claims.
It caused me to be a discerning consumer of information.
I want you to remember that phrase, Discerning Consumer.

It doesnโt matter if you like the claim or not.
Your liking or disliking it has nothing to do with the truth.

Recognize that your understanding and knowledge are constantly evolving, and it is okay to change your mind when presented with new, well-supported evidence.
