Have u got ur cholesterol levels checked & tried reducing it? Did your good #cholesterol also get lowered alongwith bad chol? It generally does happen so, that both levels drop.. #HDL & #LDL!However, ideally u want to keep our HDL levels high while lowering LDL.. how?#heart
1. Reduce and avoid transfats present in processed foods
2. Include omega 3 fatty acids present in flaxseeds, chia seeds
3. Have MUFA from nuts, olives, avacados
4. Purple coloured fruits, veggies like brinjal (not for those with gut health issues), blueberries, cabbage, carrots
5. Drink adequate water to maintain blood viscosity and flow
6. Coconut oil - daily 2tsps aids in further increasing HDL
6. Exercising everyday for 30mins aids in improving HDL
HDL aids in protecting our heart from all bad effects of faulty diet, lifestyle & inflammation.
