How to Lose Stomach Fat (seriously):
Caloric deficit → weight loss
Weight loss = losing fat/muscle/water
If you keep hydrated and strength train, you will lose more fat than muscle and water weight.
If you continually lose fat throughout your body, eventually you’ll also lose stomach fat.
You CANNOT spot reduce fat
Meaning you can’t decide what part of your body you’re losing fat from.
But if you continue to lose fat, eventually you’ll lose fat everywhere.
Having that said, you CAN specifically target muscles, making that area LOOK tighter.
The quickest way to reduce the size of your stomach is by
1. Consuming less calories than you burn (which burns fat)
2. Doing core exercises making your stomach muscles tighter
Here are 3 simple ab exercises you can start doing today:
Deadbugs
Lie on the ground with a flat back, your knees at 90 degrees and your hands straight above you
Extended your right arm back while simultaneously extending your left leg forward
Go back to neutral and repeat with opposite leg + arm
Single leg drops
Start with both legs together perpendicular to the ground
Lower your left leg until it almost touches the ground, keeping your right leg straight
Raise your left leg back up, and lower your right leg down
Planks
Make sure to avoid sagging or arching your back.
