Save this to consistently churn out winning ads on easy mode:
1.Β Hit a Mass Desire or Large Appeal Problem
Whether it’s:
β†’ sexual companionship
β†’ social approval
β†’ or status
The more powerful the desire is, and the larger the audience that resonates with the ad, the higher the scale potential
2.Β Match your messaging to your audience's current state of awareness:
β†’ Unaware
β†’ Problem-aware
β†’ Solution-aware
β†’ Product-aware
β†’ Most Aware
If you're targeting a "solution-aware" audience,Β compare your product to competitors/alternatives
3.Β Speak DIRECTLYΒ to the target demo:
This may be common sense but its not common practice, but you need to:
β†’ call them out β€œNo matter what I did, my 2 year old kid can never sleep through the night”
β†’ make sure creator fit the target demo (gender, age, race, etc.).
4.Β Appeal to the identity the consumer wants to buy into
You do this through people shown in the ad, and the environment
Example for a weight loss product:

5.Β Highlight More Pain Points and Benefits Early
The customers only care about themselves, so make it all about them.
Hit and aggravate pain points earlier on, andΒ then pivot to the benefitsΒ that position your product as the ultimate solution.
6.Β Don’t just tellβ€”SHOW how the product works
make it crystal clear how the productΒ fulfils their desires:

β†’ visual walkthroughs
Example:Β For a blender, show the process of making a smoothie, not just a product shot of it sitting on a counter
7.Β Preemptively Handle Market Wide Objections
address them upfrontΒ in your ad to build trust and confidence through:

β†’ testimonials and case studies
β†’ clear guarantees
β†’ demonstrations
β†’ unique mechanisms
8.Β Remove Fluff or Filler Sections
Every second of your ad should either connect with your audience or advance the narrative.

You wan’t to avoid long introductions or unnecessary explanations.Β Get to the point fast.
9.Β Ensure Editing Style Matches Target Audience
For younger audiences,Β quick cutsΒ andΒ high-energy pacingΒ might work better
For more mature consumers, aΒ slower paceΒ might be needed to make it easier for them to read, digest and understand what you’re trying to convey
10.Β Ensure Text Overlays Are Not Too Long
Less is more.Β People are scrolling fast.
YourΒ text overlaysΒ should beΒ brief, impactful, and easy to read within seconds.
Long paragraphs or convoluted messaging willΒ lose attentionΒ before the viewer gets to the core value.
