It's the max amount of oxygen your body can use during exercise.
It's the greatest predictor of your lifespan.
Here's how best to train it (even if you're a beginner):
2. Strength train.
- Helps cardiovascular & metabolic health
- Reduces inflammation to prevent cancer
Train 2-3 hours a week consistently.
Focus on compound exercises and progressive overload.
Strength training also makes it far less likely you fall and break a bone when you're older.
These falls could give you a 15-30% chance of dying within the next 12 months:
3. Improve your sleep.
Sleep is the most underrated aspect of health. Poor sleep causes:
- Inflammation
- Insulin resistance
- Hormone imbalances
Which lead to the main chronic diseases.
